A masterful event packed with positivity

It was great to meet so many new people and catch up with several familiar faces at Friday’s EA Masters event at the O2 Arena in London.

We were delighted to be a VIP supporter for a second consecutive year, and the lasting impression I’ll take from this superbly well organised event by the Property Academy was how positive the general vibe was.

If you listened to some estate agents on the many forums you’d be convinced the industry is on a one-way street to Extinction Avenue.

But within the conference room and exhibition hall at the EA event there was a real buzz of enthusiasm and positive energy.

An event this large takes a lot of organising and congratulations to Peter Knight and his team for creating such a brilliant and memorable day and awards ceremony.

The day featured some great speakers and I especially enjoyed Josh Phegan who always nails it.

The evening saw the awards hosted by Gabby Logan and congratulations to all our members who won awards and commendations.

I know lots of you were delighted with your results and its testimony to the hard work, dedication and focus you all put in.

The thing that unites different agencies that are on a winning run, whether that be awards, market share or year on year growth, is that they all have a positive mindset and are go-getters.

Positive in their approach to new ideas. Optimistic about the future. And confident in their abilities to make the most of the opportunities that are out there.

Especially in the land and new homes market place in their areas they do business in.
