Builder Breakfast events across the UK

At the Land & New Homes Network, we are committed to bringing together the most influential stakeholders in our industry and this week sees the launch of our regional Builder Breakfasts events which will be taking place across the UK and are a great way for us to share our insights along with our strategic partners.

Invited guests will learn how we take an active and enterprising approach to identifying land, marketing and selling developments, and how our non-competing agents work together with house builders to generate profit and drive business growth.

Dataloft

Dataloft is a data-driven residential research consultancy. Its clients include: house-builders, build to rent investors, estate agents and consultancies. 

The search for development sites has been likened to oil exploration – it is essential to have a broad understanding of the landscape and its underlying conditions, in order to know where to start prospecting.

The best opportunities for house-building will be in areas with the right mix of prices, demand and supply.  It helps to understand the strength of the local economy, population age, wealth and household structure, commuter and migration patterns, planning and infrastructure, as well as patterns in pricing, sales activity and competing supply.

All this kind of data is readily available today, and it’s tempting to throw it all into a big, weighty report.  But the real challenge is to manage the volume of information, by synthesising, interpreting and presenting it in the best way to support client’s decisions.

Drawing on their extensive experience of working with developers on consultancy assignments, Dataloft will show how data can be effectively harnessed to identify hotspots, hone in on places with prospects and target areas for site finding.
