What Ronaldo can teach agents about the Land & New Homes opportunity

On winning his fourth Champions League trophy the highest paid footballer on planet Earth, Cristiano Ronaldo, declared his brilliance with a line many estate agents should note.

Highlighting his incredible goal scoring and cup winning exploits he confidently (you’d expect nothing else) said: “The numbers don’t lie.”

And they certainly don’t.

We carried out some research recently which put into sharp focus the amount of opportunities that are out there for estate agents to win land and new home instructions in their areas.

These numbers are based on solid, accurate data which can be acted upon.

Our two full time researchers worked with our Property Technology partners on behalf of one of our members and found the following opportunities whilst out trawling their area over a 2 day period.

  • 36 sites with planning consent not built – That’s 407 potential units / instructions.
  • 7 sites currently on the market.
  • 8 self-build projects – which could have homes to be sold once the new properties are built. Not to mention the lettings opportunities.
  • 41 sites under construction – A total of 2433 units. They need agents to sell them.

There were several more opportunities our researchers discovered and presented to our client which is a secret.

And our belief is that most agents are not even scratching the surface when it comes to making the most of the land and new homes within their marketplaces.
